Black Burials
Partial transcriptions of death certificates for Black persons buried at Crescent Cemetery.
The following individuals (except John Austin) are listed in Hammers' Muhlenberg County Kentucky Cemeteries Book 3 Page 11 under Crescent Cemetery.
However, their death certificates list their burial places as Wickliffe Grave Yard; Cleaton; Company Grave Yard; and Central Coal & Iron Company Grave Yard.
It is believed that these (along with Bevier and Lacy Field) are all the same cemetery.
