County Poor Farm Cemetery - Partial Transcription
Location
According to Otto A. Rothert's History of Muhlenberg County, the County Poor Farm was a few miles northwest of Greenville. Before becoming the County Poor Farm, it was the home of Hugh Martin and the birthplace of Robert Maxwell Martin, who is the subject of Chapter 24 of that history. This chapter includes on page 320 a picture of the “County Poor Asylum”.
