Francis King 1866

I, Francis King, of Muhlenberg County Kentucky make this my last will and Testament as follows:

1st, That all my just debts be paid.

2nd, I will and bequeath to my wife Mary King all of my Estate real personal and mixed and chores in action to have hold and enjoy the same forever and she may sell and convey the whole or any part of the same as she may deem best. But she shall have no power to sell or convey the same for the benefit of any future husband & should she marry she shall only have such part of what remains unsold as if I had died intestate.

I appoint my wife Mary King Executrix of this my last will and testament.

Witness my hand this 2nd day of January 1866.

The foregoing last will and testament of Francis King decd. was produced to court and proved to be the act and deed of the said Francis King decd. by the oath of E.O. Pace, one of the subscribing witnesses who also proved the signature of S.T. Reddick the other subscribing witness to the same and the same is ordered to record which is now done accordingly.
