A lock on the gate to the Brown Gravesite. According to family tradition, once W.T. Brown died, the gate was to be locked and the key thrown within the grave; thus locking W.T. & Betsy together for eternity.

Jimmy Coots - Muhlenberg soldier who died in World War II
Cornelius Covington was born 4 September 1858; died 24 December 1889, the son of John Milton Covington and Lucy T. Zealous. He married Louisa Jennie Wells 20 December 1880 in Muhlenberg County. She was the daughter of Jacob J. Wells and Mary Elizabeth Sweeney.
“Jennie Covington” is written on front of photo sleeve, while on back of sleeve is written “Miss Jennie Wells and Cornelius Covington”.

William Thomas Davis, born in Tennessee 16 December 1857, son of Alfred J. and Jane McCoy Davis; died in Muhlenberg County 25 December 1931.
His wife Rebecca Bell Griffith Davis, born 24 December 1866 in Muhlenberg County, daughter of James and Mary Ann Williams Griffith; died 10 September 1942. This couple married in 1886 and possibly resided in Paradise before locating in Drakesboro before 1910.
William ran a grocery store in Drakesboro. Their children included Raymond Oscar (born 1892), Chloe Darling (born 1893), Truman Patrick (born 1896), and Bertha Louise (born 1898).
