Fentress-Keel Marriage
Miss Ruth Fentress and Lionel V. Keel were married Thursday, August 2, at three o'clock in the afternoon at St. John's Catholic Church, Gulfport, Miss., Rt. Rev. Msgr. H.A. Spengler, pastor, reading the single ring ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Kennedy, brother-in-law and sister of the bride, were the attendants.
Mrs. Keel wore a two piece suit of yellow linen, with white accessories, and carried sweetheart roses. The couple left immediately after the wedding for several days in New Orleans.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Leo Fentress, Central City, Ky. She has made her home on the Coast for the past seven years, where she was connected with a branch of her father's printing establishment.
Mr. Keel was with Keyes-Dorman before enlisting in the Seabees three years ago. He is on a 30-day leave after two years in the Marshall Islands. He has made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Lorene Keel, since he has lived in Gulfport.
