Welcome to the Muhlenberg County KYGenWeb Project
Muhlenberg County was formed in 1798 from parts of Logan and Christian Counties. The county seat is Greenville.
The county was named in honor of John Peter Muhlenberg, a Continental Army general during the American Revolution. Many of the men he commanded would eventually settle in what would later become Muhlenberg County.
I will be in Athens, Greece for the month of September. I will not be checking my email often but will get back to you in October. Thank you.
